'8' - Grand mother/father
'9' - Daughter/son in-law
'10' - Other relatives
'11' - not related
Be particularly careful in doing this if the respondent is not the head of the household. Make sure that you record the
relationship of each person to the household head, not the relationship to the respondent.Be very careful in
obtaining this information correctly, since respondents tend to provide the relationship of the person to themselves, rather than
to the head of the household.
If a household member is not related to the
head of household, such as a friend who lives with the household, enter 11(Not related).
