The purpose of this question is to determine if the household drinking water is treated within the household, so what type of treatment is used. This question is intended to gather information on water treatment at the household level and not water treatment at the municipal or vendor level.
Circle the code corresponding to the response. The household may be using a method that you know does not make water safer to drink - do not use your judgement, and record the response. Record all items mentioned (for example, the household may be using filtering and adding chlorine at the same time).
